In mid 2016 ‘Not Studio’ created a series of branded content films for Marks and Spencer. These included a film and photoshoot for M&S Lingerie, a promotional film for M&S kids augmented reality t-shirts, and a series of M&S menswear editorial films set in Palma, Majorca. Not Studio created cinema quality, short films which were used across M&S online, selected stores and social media.

Our ‘Not Studio’ team created the art direction and concepts for the films. Our ‘Not Film’ team produced, scripted, filmed and edited the M&S films, which included teaser edits for social channels and press releases.

‘Not Studio’ were asked to design and build a contemporary e-commerce website to help re-launch the iconic Ingersoll watch collection. The site should feel modern, but reflect the true heritage of the original brand. The site would need to hold 5 collections and be available to men and women via a simple menu system. It should be equally easy to use, as a customer and for the Ingersoll team

‘Not Studio’ created a custom built site, based upon the Shopify e-commerce platform. Our team designed the UX, and built multi-currency sites for the US, UK and European marketplaces.

Working closely with the marketing team at Topshop since 2015, ‘Not Studio’ have helped bring to life digitally, some of Topshop’s famous seasonal campaigns. We designed and created rich media, interactive ads, including film and music. ‘Not Studio’ have worked with international teams to create Topshop ads in fashion takeovers, including, Dazed and Confused, Popsuger and Refinery29.

Our ’Not Film’ team created film edits from seasonal campaign films, for inclusion in rich media ads and for use in live projections across some of London’s most famous landmarks.

‘Not Studio’ were asked to design and build a contemporary e-commerce website to help launch the new Black Eye Rags mens collection. The site should feel modern, but reflect the Black Eye Rags inspiration which comes from the creativity of Punk that was born from rebellion, frustration and anti-establishment anger. With the short, fast paced songs, stripped down instrumentation and an aggressively modern look and sound.

‘Not Studio’ created a simple site, based upon the Shopify e-commerce platform and includes lookbooks and a journal. The site is due to be launched in August 2016.

The London based fashion brand Blood Brother asked ‘Not Studio’ to design and build the front end for their Magento e-commerce website. The site should represent the brands new premium direction and include a stockists page, hidden video pages and seasonal lookbooks.

‘Not Studio’ designed and created a site that was a custom built, responsive and included video. We also advised on e-commerce, UX traffic, analytics and digital marketing.

The team over at Isobel creative agency, asked ‘Not Studio’ to create a playful website. The agency site was to feature Isobel’s thinking, people, clients and projects. The work section features those ad campaigns from clients such as Danepak, National Express, Harrods and The National History Museum, along with Isobel’s famous christmas cards, comedy club and window displays. We created the concepts, design and build process for Isobel’s ad agency website. The site is fully responsive and is controlled by a client friendly content management system (CMS).

’Not Studio’ were asked re-design the fashion designer, Kat Maconie’s new brand identity. The logo and the branding would be used for all online, packaging, print, labelling and retail fascias.

The creation of the branding was broken in to three different stages. Mood boards showing different routes and ideas to evolve the brand of the footwear designer. The second stage was the explorations of different designs for the brand and logo, based on the previous mood boards and feedbacks of the client. The last stage was the delivery of the final selected logo with simple brand guidelines for use.

In 2014 we were asked to help create Grazia’s new shopping channel, Graziashop.com. The e-commerce site would be the first international marketplace for any major publishing house, and feature exciting exclusive content, videos, interviews and colabs. The site was launched with Chiara Ferragni aka The Blond Salad.

We oversaw the direction of the fashion buying for the final site and brought over 250 designers and brands to the new platform.

Between 2006 and 2013 we were asked to design and build the online retail platform for the Coggles fashion business. Coggles.com would sell mens and women fashion along with lifestyle products including books, bikes, music and furniture. The site had the largest street style gallery, and included music, design interviews and branded film content. We helped the site grow from startup to becoming an international contemporary fashion website.

Coggles.com was a custom built, e-commerce website. We provided the art direction and design of the site. All digital marketing, PPC, SEO, social media channels, branded films and email campaigns were created by ’Not Studio’.

Not Studio recently created the M&S film showcasing the new Marks & Spencer Studio at Fashion Street Lingerie collection. The collection is a young, 90’s sportswear inspired lingerie collection which launched in April 2016.

Named after the M&S east London design studio, this new lingerie capsule collection has an edgy, fashion-forward look. We featured the M&S design team, who reveal what inspired them to create it.

‘Not Film’ created the the new M&S menswear tried & tested editorial series. The first of the films to be released was episode 1, the impact resistant sunglasses, set in Palma, Majorca. The film features M&S menswear editor, Ian Wright as he tests the robust nature of the M&S sunglasses.

 ‘Not Film’ provided the creative direction and produced the M&S films. Developed the scripts and filmed on international locations. We created edits and subtitled versions to sit on all M&S social media platforms.

Not Studio were asked to bring to life the new M&S augmented reality t’shirts for kids. When you point your smart phone or tablet at the t’shirt the print would come to life.

We worked to bring out the charm of the augmented reality product with the character of the children who took part in trying it out. The film was so well received that it was rolled out to all the M&S stores. No augmented reality animal was harmed in the making of this film!

Gameplay Plus is hosted by presenters Roman Kemp, Alena Gerber and Wilson Benedito. The adidas Football ​GameplayPlus​ Channel channel brings you the world of cutting edge football. We photographed over 1000 people for Coggles street style project. The images made up the UK’s largest style archive. We created the Coggles series of documentary films to explore the lives of some of these people. This film tells the story of a freelance menswear designer and DJ with a show on East London’s independent radio project, NTS Live. We give a glimpse into the life of one of the men behind this famous street style campaign.
